Native Lounge in downtown San Luis Obispo is hosting their second annual Embodiment: A Human Canvas Event.

I was invited to paint one model last year and I've been invited back. This year I will be painting three models! It will be a long day, but it's going to be awesome!

I have to close my gallery for the entire day on Thursday to be a part of this event. My only compensation is from tickets that I sell. I have a very limited supply, but if I sell all that I have it will be worth it.

Tickets are $10 each, presale.

Boobie Cupcakes

My friend Sophie brought me some cupcakes today. It doesn't take much of an imagination to see what these particular cakes resemble. She claims that was not her intention at all. Sure, pal!

It only seemed natural to bust out the good old Krink marker and have some fun. And yes, I sometimes revert to the same humor as a twelve year old boy.



And since I'm not a total boob freak I thought I'd draw a dude as well.



The best part, of course, was stuffing the boobs...I mean, the cupcakes in my mouth!

Career Change

It's official. If this art thing doesn't work out I want to be a Zamboni Driver!



And if that doesn't work out then I want to go back to the art thing and hand paint Zamboni's with my custom artwork for the NHL.

There, it's been settled.

I've heard alot a good things about Deer Run and finally jumped in the car for a little scenic drive up to Cambria so I could check it out. They offer an eclectic mix of fun artistic treasures that will not disappoint. I had a good chat with the owner, Leslie, and even showed her some of my artwork. Look At Me

About a week and a half ago Patrick and Henry came into the gallery asking if I wanted something of mine in a video they were making. Well, of course I do, I responded. If you've been in the gallery then you've seen the floaty head things I have hanging from the ceiling. Or rather from the large pipe that runs across the ceiling of the gallery. Anyway, I gave them some floaty head things to use. When they returned the heads later I invited myself to tag along with them as they continued filming throughout the night.
